{number 15} 3/5 of the way there

well remember this little thing i put together the beginning of this year, well i finally have a time to check a few things off that i have completed....and take note of ones that have clearly slipped my mind.

i went on a fabulous girls weekend trip and saw district 9 with rhonda, not my kinda movie but entertaining in the retelling aspect. it gave us some good laughs nonetheless and if i ever see an alien i'll be sure to throw a can of cat food his way.
then there was ponyo. miyazaki's film about friendship, love and ham! i am a big fan of his movies and highly recommend it, as well as my favorite movie of his, totoro to anyone! we loved ponyo and made a family date out of it....theatre snacks and all! it was so great to see the wonder in lucy's eyes as she watched the film and to hear her act it out after wards. magic.
