summer, thus far

we have been toting around the beach bag everywhere and letting it take us where ever our little waterlogged hearts desire. lucy has join the heavenly spies in their pro-style sun tanning and hot pink hat brigade. we've been saturated with rainbow stripes, brightly colored nails, cupcakes, sparkles, sand cakes, beachin', swimming and friends, both old and new.

we also had the pleasure of taken a little vacation to one of the most magical places known to my family, the oregon coast. we had a wonderful time in manzanita as well as at short sands (our favorite beach...ever!), where dave got to surf and lucy learned to boogie board! she's even sporting her own new wetsuit.

we had a lovely time as a family, running the endless beach, combing for treasures and loving eachother immensely.





we have also learned that although lucy is quite the beach bum, she is not a fan of nautical creatures and wants to make sure that her hands steer clear from them at all times. no more tides pools, for a long while, cute little jelly fish or not.
